Jack Rhapsody

Sing along time (apologies to Queen and Wayne’s World)

Is Jack real life?
Is he just fantasy?
Real by a landslide
An escape from reality;
Balance stuff can he, look at your screen and see…

Jack’s just a poor pup, he needs no sympathy
Because he’s an easy come easy fun
A little show, a little dumb
Anyway the day runs, doesn’t really matter… to him,
to him.

Mama, just chased a squirrel
Bared teeth and raised my hair, tried hard to look bigger , oh how he sped
Mama , the chase had just begun
But that ole squirrel got away
Mama, , oo-o-o-o-oo …I didn’t know they could fly
If he’s not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters

Too late, he got away
Sending mocking sounds Jack’s way, eyes still searching all the time
Good chase there, buddy – you gave it a go
But he ran thru the leaves and across the roof
Mama, oo-o-o–oo – maybe he’ll fall if the wind blows
Gonna give it another try
Critter will wish he’d never been born at all…

I see a little silhouette of a lab
Furry dog, furry dog will you balance a potato?
Thunderbolt and lightning – very very frightening to him
Labrador (Labrador),
Labrador, (Labrador),
Labrador, Jack-o- (magnifico-o-o-o-o)
